Artist's statement:

In my canvas I develop images that interact with scripts in the form of palimpsests or acrostics: stories or loose phrases or interjections, all of them without author, and that can not be read... they are infinite randomness.

The "texting" of the artwork is as an equivalent to the capitals letters of a written text, for me. They allow courses and trips to rhyme, identifying repetitions, interruptions, diversions and detours, which give an ending to the artwork. Through this, the painting becomes an instrument put under the service of metaphorization, pictorial space is put into hierarchy, and the hope of being text vanishes, but creates a transcendence that is both real and imaginative, to attract the attention of the viewer.

The theme is social, with recognizable elements of the environment that are a stage for multiple daily and intellectual acts, which provides a knot of connections between a past, a story and the present, the collective and the personal: psychological and emotional resonance networks, also aesthetic.

There is a game in shape and semantics; the idea of the meaning and the idea of the image: production + meaning. Valuing the paiting will then be like an act and a gesture, being the "meaning" then subjugated to the act, being the act also a symbol.
